Curriculum Developer

Duties:

Develop and revise K–5 reading lesson plans and materials

Create tutor scripts, modelling examples, and training resources

Organize and maintain digital curriculum files

Collaborate with site staff and leadership to adjust instruction as needed

Overview:
Provides individualized one-on-one reading tutoring to elementary-age students.
Duties:

Deliver 30-minute one-on-one reading tutoring sessions

Follow the provided lesson plans and instructional materials

Model fluent and expressive reading

Track attendance and complete brief session notes

Support students with encouragement, consistency, and professionalism
Site Lead
Availability:
Monday–Thursday
Shifts available from 3:15-5:45 p.m., 3:45-6:15 p.m., and 4:45-7:15 p.m.
Location(s):
YMCA East Communities, Pathways at Northgate, The Bridge at Loyola, and Residences at Decker, with some remote administrative work

Prepare materials and organize tutoring spaces

Track attendance and session completion

Update tutoring tracker for each student

Reduce no-shows through reminders and follow-up
